James and Sarah pretty much have a great time at all times; I think they could be standing in line a the DMV and they would both have huge smiles on their faces and be laughing and getting others to have a great time. I love being around people who’s fun is so infectious!

We got owned by Facebook!
I met up with Tim and Kathryn in Palo Alto at the Facebook office for their engagement shoot, only for us to all discover that Facebook took down their sign so we didn’t have anything to shoot! I’m betting that so many people want pictures in front of the sign that the neighbors complained. Oh, well, we still had a great time shooting around San Francisco.
Tim races bikes (as do I) and Kathryn runs marathons so we all had a lot in common and good times were had. I do think that Kathryn may have gotten sick of Tim and I talking bikes, sorry Kathryn! :)
I’m really looking forward to their San Francisco wedding later this summer; great location at the Hamlin Mansion and awesome couple, what more could I ask for?

I had a blast with Whitney and John at their wedding in the Biltmore Four Seasons down in Santa Barbara. It was an absolutely perfect spring day (okay, technically still winter but it was about 73 degrees so it felt like spring) and I could tell how excited everyone was to be in such a gorgeous location and in such great company! It was funny to see how many people sat at the reception and just stared off at the sea and enjoyed the view!

I just got back my sample album from the amazing Angelica and I’m totally blown away! Here are just a couple sample album pages from Lori and Bobby’s beautiful Santa Barbara wedding at Gainey Vineyard. This is just a sample of what you’ll see but I don’t want to ruin it for all the brides who have yet to see the album in person!

I had a great time meeting up with Janet and Ryan up in Napa Valley last week for their engagement session. It had just finished up about 2 straight weeks of rain so everything was VERY muddy so we were a bit limited with where we could go but when you shoot in Napa you make it work! Helps that there are thousands of great locations so not being able to go into the vineyards isn’t as limiting as you might think.

The last 6 weeks have been incredible! I want to welcome all my new clients (there’s a ton of you!) and introduce everyone to Lisa and John who’s engagement we shot up in San Francisco. This was our second or third attempt at shooting as we kept getting rained out but it finally worked out to shoot during the Superbowl. If you aren’t a huge NFL fan, then Superbowl Sunday is a great day to hit up all the normally crowded locations you wouldn’t normally go to!
Lot’s more fun stuff coming up in the coming months; New York weddings, Biltmore Resort in Santa Barbara, Napa Valley engagement session, San Luis Obispo family sessions… tons of exciting shoots!
