Thanks for taking the time to look over my blog! Here you’ll find a lot about my current shoots and even a little bit about me personally.

The power of a single image to make you stop, think and feel about a moment has always fascinated me. My passion for photography and art started when I was in grade school; most kids had posters of their favorite bands or cars on their walls, I had Ansel Adams and Picasso prints! I always had a camera with me growing up (I got teased plenty for that!) and loved capturing those intimate moments that most people hardly even notice. Looking back through my work I came to realize it is that string of intimate moments that make up who we are!
After graduating from Cal Poly, then doing advanced studies at Brooks Institute of Photography, I devoted  my gift to storytelling as the boring products and buildings I was photographing didn’t give me that satisfaction I craved. I remember the tears in the eye’s of my first bride when she saw my work from her wedding and I knew I could never do anything else.
Along the way I met and married the love of my life, Stephanie. She is so wonderful and supportive (and hot!) that I sometimes wonder how she puts up with me! We have two great kids, Caiden and Kyla. Caiden already fancies himself to be a great photographer and loves to take pictures of our dogs…though Aunt’s Caitlin and Courtney seem to be favorite subjects too! Kyla always favors dramatic lighting…and peanut butter!

I’m probably not what most people consider to be a normal wedding photographer and I’m cool with that. You deserve more than “normal” anyways!  I love being a photographer and have never wanted to do anything else.
