slo wedding photography

I know, months with no posts! Let me explain…

I have been busy. No, not like “working-40-hours-a-week-plus-having-kids” busy, I mean every waking hour of my day is scheduled and I’m still a hundred hours behind kind of busy! I need to give some background into what’s been going on for this so I apologize for getting “personal” on my business blog. For the past year or so I have been taking care of my mother through her battle with breast cancer. We fought and fought but unfortunately it was caught much too late and my mom passed away about a month ago. We are all devastated and miss her greatly, it’s very painful. I will devote a full post to my mom’s memory when I can get my head around it all.

That said, my photography business has been going as good as it ever has, mom would be proud 🙂 I’ve had a few amazing weddings over the past couple months with great couples and great times! I’ve also had a TON of commercial work for wineries and major online clients. I just had an image I shot for Epoch Estates Winery published in Wine Spectator magazine and am shooting several thousand products for Cal Poly University Store as they take their inventory online. It’s all very exciting and I’m so happy that so many years of hard work are paying off!

I’ve got deadlines like crazy over the next 2 weeks but will try to squeeze in some blog posts to keep this place alive as I’ve had a bunch of people asking me what’s going on. I’ve got wedding photography posts, winery portraits, business portraits, product photography, vineyard pictures, X100s for wedding photography review, X100s for panoramics review and that post about my mom. Lot’s to do…so I better get back to it!
