San Luis Obispo Panoramic Images
I’ve been busy shooting engagement sessions and have gotten a bit behind in my blogging so I’m posting up a few of the panoramic images I’ve been working on for a series I’m shooting in San Luis Obispo County. I’ve shot these as 6 images panels using a Really Right Stuff Elements Package on a sturdy carbon fiber tripod with my Canon 5DIII then stitch the images together to make truly large prints. It’s a TON of work but very satisfying, especially when viewing them at 3×9 feet! Be sure to click on the images in this post to see them at full width as my blog cuts them off a bit.
The series of images is going to be for sale as fine art prints. There will be several options for each print with pricing starting as low as $250 for an unmounted 16×48 inch print with framed 24×72″ prints for $1250 (depending on framing options).
I’m new to the whole world of Panoramic’s so I will be writing up my thoughts on pano’s and reviews of the Really Right Stuff Elements Package, Really Right Stuff Compact Ball Head and, my personal favorite discount find, the awesome T1205X tripod by Sirui. For what it is, the Sirui is a steal compared to the 3x more expensive Gitzo offerings. The comparison gets a bit more murky compared to the RRS tripods but I’ll get into that later.
I’ll post up some of the wedding engagement photography I’ve been doing soon but I’m super busy with keeping my clients getting their images quickly and about to start a run of 4 wedding weekends straight so I don’t want to get behind!
