Mark and Danielle’s SLO Wedding Engagment Session
Ok, so which of my sharp-eyed past clients recognizes this groom? Yes, that’s Mark who has shot along side me on and off for about 5 years! Well now it’s Mark’s turn to do some wedding planning along with his beautiful bride-to-be Danielle. While the wedding will be in Danielle’s home town of Chico, CA, we decided to do the engagement photography session in San Luis Obispo as Mark is a Cal Poly graduate and all of we Cal Poly Alumni love a good excuse to visit the campus we love. Yes, I am a Cal Poly Alumni as well, majored in Ag Business Marketing and Minored in Viticulture. Makes sense I’m a photographer, right?
We started off on the Cal Poly Campus shooting around the new dorms and looked down on the Arboretum that I haven’t visited in 12+ years. Most Cal Poly students never even know it exists but as a blossoming photographer I was always looking for cool spots so stumbled on it as a great place to relax between classes. It’s looking way better now (thanks to my neighbor Jason Lewis who is the professor in charge of the Arboretum) and was really fun to shoot in.
We then moved on to a favorite San Luis Obispo barn and some fields as everyone loves the natural beauty of SLO. Really, nothing says San Luis Obispo like the golden light than filters down Los Osos Valley late in the evening!
I’m really looking forward to Mark and Danielle’s Chico Wedding just over a month from now, we are going to have a great time!
